Companion-Bus Stop KAWS

KAWS is an American artist and designer, whose real name is Brian Donnelly. the above work is known as "Companion-Bus Stop, 2001. Acrylic on Arches paper" I chose it because it was more muted than most of his works so it stood out. I was also curious about the medium as I did not know what Arches paper was. I looked up arches paper and found out that it was an air-dried paper that is used by printers and watercolorists, this confused me because the source I read about the work said it was acrylic on arches paper, as opposed to the description on other works saying that they were silkscreens. this left me uncertain to what kind of work this is.
