This painting was created by KAWS and is called Tondo 2010. It is an acrylic on canvas and it is a part of the contemporary and urban art movement. I picked this painting because it has a lot of dimension with only two distinguishable features. You immediately know who the character is and it looks as if you are watching the animation on TV. I like the colors KAWS used and I liked that he used two different shades of black to add to the dimension.
