This painting is called "Kawsbob Enters the Strange Forest." Kaws painted this piece in 2011. This painting is very odd that I like it. It shows a cartoon character that we all know, SpongeBob SquarePants as a flower. It is a very playful and childish painting with the bright colors and SpongeBob's face. His face is very playful as well. I really do like how this painting isn't a square like most paintings are, it is round. I see that if not all, but most Kaws' paintings have X's in them. I don't understand the meaning of that, maybe it's just a signature. Having the X's as SpongeBob's eyes work well with the rest of the painting.
