KAWS is a very stylized American artist and designer. This is a set of 3 prints that are screenprints in colors on woven paper. It was made in 2018. KAWS has a specific style with an emphasis on color and line and is known for using x’s on hands, eyes, and ears. I chose this piece because I like how it is a series of 3 prints that can be separate, yet together are very strong visually. I love his use of color, shape, and pattern. How he overlaps and the shapes and characters makes for a very dynamic and interesting piece.
