Kaws is an American graffiti artist and designer who is widely known for his creative paintings of characters and toys. His artwork is known to bear a resemblance to Takashi Murakami but still has his own twist and design. Kaws states that he likes his signature letters on his artwork which are k, a, w, s because he likes the way they work together and how they are shaped. The reason why I chose this painting was because of the iconic Snoopy but it wasn't a direct copy of the snoopy illustration. I like the use of white swirls and the "x" on Snoopy's eyes.
