Andy Warhol - Campbell's Soup Cans

My favorite artist/painter is Andy Warhol. He interests me because he creates a lot of unconventional, whimsical art that is very well known. Some of his famous works include pop art of celebrities, soup cans, and animals. This particular work shown above was painted in 1962, and it consists of 32 individual canvases of different Campbell's soup cans. His style consists of pop culture, advertising, as well as his own artistic expression. He became an inspiration for a lot of other different artists, such as in fashion design. Because of this, he is a very distinct artist whose work always stands out.
