Starry night by Van Gogh is one of my favorite paintings. Van Gogh painted this from his asylum room one dark night. I love his use of impressionism. It makes the sky look like its coming to life. I love the dark look of the painting. The colors he used really set the tone for the entire painting. The village in the back also gives the painting more to look at.
