Wayne Thiebaud is known for his still life’s of desserts and
everyday objects. In various of his pieces you will see color depicted in different
shades and see different textures on his paintings. Food Bowls created
in 2005 is oil on canvas. I like this painting because of the use of shadows which
gives the painting dimension. I also like how he made the bowls look realistic that
one would want to eat it.
