Cafe Terrace at Night is an oil on canvas by Vincent van Gough done in 1888. It was painted in Arles, France and the site can still be visited today in the corner of Palace du Forum. The painting was actually never signed, but was mentioned in many letters that van Gough had written. This painting was the first time he depicted the starry sky and he later went on to use this technique in his most popular painting. This painting is currently on display at the Kroller- Muller Museum in Otterlo, Netherlands.
