This piece is titled "Bacon and Eggs", which Thiebaud completed in 1964. It comes from the Delight series. It surprised me because this painting is pretty small. It is 5"x6" which is about the length of my iPhone. I also chose this not only because I love having eggs for breakfast but also because it stood out to me that it was not in color. There seems to be ones online that are in color but the original is this one, which was made with a type of watercolor.
