Paul Gauguin painted the Hail Mary in 1891, which is also known La Orana Maria. The painting contains five people, Mary on the right with Jesus on her shoulders. On the left, it is thought to be a female angel known as Archangel Gabriel dressed in pink and with blue and yellow wings. Paul painted this after his move to Tahiti and it was his first painting he completed there.
