paul gaugin- still life with three puppies

This painting was created by Paul Gaugin in 1888. The medium that he used to paint this was oil. I picked this painting originally because I thought the puppies were cute. I like how they are eating out of the frying pan instead of a bowl. Everything is placed on top of a table cloth. He also added fruit on the side of each cups. In the front of the table there are more fruit. I also like the pattern that is imprinted into the table cloth. It is very faint but you can still see it. I think that the perspective that he chose was kind of akward.
