April Gornik created this piece in 2012 and it is called Light After the Storm. It is an oil on linen painting and it is a striking yet calming image. I really like the color choices she used especially on the waves that are crashing on the shore. I picked this painting because I thought it was similar to the atmospheric perspective we talked about in class and because of how realistic it is.
