Christ in the Storm of the Sea of Gailee

Rembrandt did this painting in 1633. He did it to describe the gospel of Mark from the bible. I found it interesting that this is his only seascape painting. Also, as a criminology major I found the history of this painting of it being stolen and never recovered super interesting. From an art standpoint I think it is very dramatic and the lights and darks tell an impactful story.
