Rembrandt was a Dutch painter and printmaker. Rembrandt had a wide verity of art work ranging form self portraits, to portraits to even landscapes. This art came from a period of great wealth. This period is known as the Dutch Golden age. This painting remains missing, as it was stolen and it unfound. The museum has the painting empty frames still on display.
