Edward Hopper: Cottages at North Truro



This is Edward Hopper's watercolor painting called Cottages at North Truro. It was painted in 1938 in a town called North Truro in Massachusetts. Edward Hopper was an American realist painter and printmaker. He was best known for his oil paintings but he has a real talent with watercolors as well. His watercolor paintings are of many houses in the Cape Cod area, and there are now tours available to visit all of the spots he used as inspiration. All of his paintings are beautiful and are now being sold for over 3 million dollars.
