Stepped Waterfall

April Gornikcrated created this painting in 1998, out of prints and multiples, color direct gravure with spit bite aquatint. Gornikcrated mostly paints landscapes that she can be in. She also, makes them artificial to take position over them. I picked this painting because I thought it was a little different from the rest of her paintings. In addition, I picked this painting because this painting is not your typle waterfall painting she doesn't have a huge amount of water running down. She paints a clam waterfall that people would want to sit next to and relax.
