Rose Period

Picasso's Rose Period reflected a point in his art where he used many rose tones in his paintings. Additionally, his subject matter was somewhat more cheerful than his blue period. The picture I chose is Picasso's "Blue Boy With a Pipe." The painting is a blend of both cool and rose tones, and the boy wears a flower crown. There are also flowers in the background of the picture. The feeling is overall more cheerful than some of Picasso's other works.
