April Gornik's artwork consists of landscapes and she states that nature is the fundamental of her spiritual being. She was questioned if her art was suppose to be a statement about climate change and she said to use her art for whatever good it is to the earth. This painting is called "Spring light and still water" and i think it differs vastly from her paintings that I come across because of her use of the greens and yellows. She also managed to perfectly position the reflections in the water and still keeps the color composition the same.
